the Women's Jewelry Association's 26th Annual Awards for Excellence Gala, Monday, July 28th and did site visits to select a new venue for the 2010 Circle of Distinction Dinner to be held Sunday, July 25th. the Arkansas Jewelers Association, attendance at the AJA 70th anniversary celebration dinner, scheduled store visits and the Sunday brunch meeting of the Arkansas/Dixie Guild. Gem Society Board of Directors. Mary Healey Fine Jewelers was the second stop of the morning and then on to Roberson's Fine Jewelers (featured in this issue's Retailer Spotlight on page eight--read all about them). and his wife Steffany. They are very excited about joining the American Gem Society. American Gem Society Education Services Manager presented, "Promoting Your Store & American Gem Society Membership: Going After Business Aggressively." Patrick's presentation covered developing your own personal "brand", making sure it syncs with the store's brand image and aggressively marketing and going after business. Patrick also demonstrated "light performance" with ASET images and demonstrated the ASET camera and its many uses as well as the new handheld ASET and the Presentation ASET. Attendees were able to view "live" diamonds in the various tools as well as diamonds from their own inventory. over 25 were in attendance. Many of the attendees expressed their thanks for the opportunity to participate in another American Gem Society benefit; Guild meetings. |
